In the spirit of giving and community support, this year we have donated £500 to the Toys & Teens Appeal. The Toys & Teens Appeal, organised annually by Reading Family Aid, is a special initiative that ensures underprivileged children across Reading experience the joy of the holiday season. Heartbreakingly, in 2021, 27% of Reading’s children were living in poverty – that’s 9,000 children.
The appeal collects toys, games, books, and vouchers to distribute to children from low-income families, brightening their Christmas with gifts they might otherwise go without. Last year alone, the appeal provided over 2,000 children with presents.
Our contribution exemplifies the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of families and children in need while emphasising the importance of community solidarity and corporate social responsibility.
Our Managing Director, Ken Leech expressed pride in supporting the Toys & Teens Appeal, stating: “At Managementors, we believe in giving back to the community we are part of. It’s our way of helping ensure every child in Reading has a magical Christmas.”
