Our Practice Director, Grant Taylor, recently attended Highways UK 2025, one of the industry’s flagship events bringing together leaders and innovators from across the highways and transport sector.
The event featured a range of insightful presentations and panel discussions, exploring how the sector can continue to evolve and improve delivery standards. A key theme from the Digital Roads Theatre was the ongoing challenge of wastage and administrative burden within contract management. As Grant highlighted, “there’s a real need to standardise and embed more efficient processes, governance, and smarter ways of working to drive meaningful change across the industry.”
Highways UK also provided a great opportunity to connect with clients, old and new, and to build new relationships across the sector. Reflecting on the event, Grant noted that it remains “the best place to catch up with colleagues and friends and it’s rewarding to see how well the sector continues to retain such talented people.”
With collaboration and innovation at its heart, Highways UK once again proved to be a valuable space for sharing ideas and shaping the future of the highways industry.
