What We Learnt at Engage Employee Summit 2026

Last week, our team attended the Engage Employee Summit 2026 at Battersea Park. The two-day summit gave us in depth insights into employee engagement strategies, wellbeing, inclusion, leadership and digital transformation.  With over 170 Thought leadership presentations and 150 exhibitors, we gained actionable strategies and practical insights to drive engagement, trust and business resilience.

The summit provides real-life examples from a variety of companies such as Google, Monzo, Avanti West Coast Trains, Popeyes Chicken and Hammonds. One of the consistent themes and key takeaways from these companies, was the reminder that employee engagement is shaped through everyday experiences, clear and honest communication and leadership behaviour rather than isolated initiatives alone.

Another hot topic was of course, AI. With AI rapidly advancing across technology, industry and society, a strong recognition that human skills such as communication, emotional intelligence and sound judgement are just as valuable. In a landscape shaped by rapid AI adoption, economic uncertainty and changing employee expectations, speakers highlighted the importance of leaning into AI to boost innovation and tackle complex challenges.

“It is essential to treat employees as strategic partners. As the individuals responsible for delivering projects, they possess invaluable insight into the skills and capabilities needed for the organisation to remain competitive and relevant within the industry. Ultimately, the success of any business depends on prioritising its people” – Raman Kaur (HR Manager).

Attending the summit, gave us food for thought and will help us shape our strategy to ensure we do the best by our employees and the organisation. We would like to thank everyone involved in organising the Engage Employee Summit and we look forward to next year!
