We’re proud to announce that our Senior Consulting Analyst, Matt Puttock, recently completed the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Here’s what he learnt during his studies:

“Completing the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership has been an important next step in my professional journey, and I’m grateful that Managementors has supported my development. The course has provided me with invaluable insights into management and leadership principles, enhancing my role as a Senior Consultant Analyst.

I’ve learned how different team dynamics require different approaches, as well as how to tailor my communication to different personality types, improving the way I collaborate with client teams onsite. Additionally, the focus on coaching and mentoring techniques has equipped me with skills to guide colleagues more effectively, contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.

By incorporating project management strategies from the course, I now feel more confident in leading initiatives and ensuring we meet our objectives. I look forward to applying these skills further in my role, turning challenges for our clients into opportunities for growth.”

Key Learnings:

  • Emphasising a culture of development encourages team members to share ideas and learn from each other, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
  • Delivering Change: I’ve gained insights into change management strategies that help facilitate smooth transitions in projects, ensuring that stakeholders are on board and engaged throughout the process. This understanding has allowed me to recognise how clients might experience change and what we can do to support this.
