Earlier this month, the Managementors team returned to Oakley Hall for our annual two-day Summer Conference, bringing colleagues together from across the business to reflect on the first half of the year and plan for an exciting H2.
With lots of new faces joining the team over the past few months, the conference provided a fantastic opportunity for everyone to reconnect, build new relationships and share ideas. During the first day, we reviewed our H1 achievements, celebrated successes such as recent promotions and awards, announced new initiatives and discussed changes that have taken place throughout the year. All of which was nicely rounded off by members our management team being put in the stocks and pelted with wet sponges in aid of our chosen charities.
As this year marks 30 years of Managementors, we also took the opportunity to celebrate this incredible milestone. The first evening featured a very ‘interactive’ 30-year quiz, putting our knowledge of the 90s to the test.
We opened day two with revealing strategic plans for the next six months and an extremely interesting talk by Managementors’ Advisor, Steven Broomhead, on Andy Burnham and his thoughts for the future government direction. To round off the conference, colleagues and partners enjoyed a summer BBQ, with one of our Managing Directors, Grant, taking to the DJ decks to provide entertainment for the evening.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful Summer Conference. We’re looking forward to building on a strong first half and making H2 even more successful!
